ChemACX, our compendium of vendor chemical catalogs, contains thousands of nucleotides. ChemACX can be searched for nucleotides either as text strings or as chemical structures.
These nucleotides are indexed variously by common names, base sequence, and base structure. This video demonstrates:
- Search for a general term such as “nucleotide” which locates a list of substances.
- Search for a specific term such as “N-26%primer” which locates one substance and shows its vendor.
- Search for base sequences, such as "TGA".
- Dealing with text searches and alternative meanings of biological phrases such as 5'.
- Drawing nucleotides using ChemDraw’s sequence tool, for searching in ChemACX.
- Alternative structure drawing methods including Name-to-Structure, DNA and RNA templates, and chemical nicknames.
